THE OBSTACLES @ bury st edmunds

We have 30 obstacles - ranging in size & shape - over a 1km long course…

HURDLES

Three wooden hurdles spread over 50m that get progressively taller & harder!

THE SLIDE

Once you’ve scaled a wooden ramp, prepare to launch yourself down a MASSIVE metal slide… and if it’s been raining, prepare to make a splash!

4FT WALL MOUND

Jump or climb (depending on your height) the first 4ft wall, run across the 25m-long mound before dropping down off the second 4ft wall!

 

DANIEL BEDINGFIELD

Because ‘you gotta get thru this’ obstacle! Sorry, ‘Dad Joke’!

ROPE WALL

You’ve got 3 options here - a bit tricky, medium tricky, & extra tricky! Either way, you’ll find yourself 15ft in the air with a sloping wooden ladder wall to descend!

 

6FT WALL

It’s a wall. It’s 6ft tall!

7FT LADDER WALL

The walls get progressively taller around the course, so technique & grip are paramount!

CARGO NET A-FRAME

A combination of coordination & confidence will see you over this 16ft high obstacle!

 

8FT WALL

They’re getting taller!

LOG LEAPS

Picking those feet up = heart rate up!

CARGO NET CRAWL

Head down, bum up, crawl for your life… well, 25m at least!

 

VERTICAL CARGO NET

15ft up, touch yellow strap, 15ft down - what could be simpler?!

IRISH TABLE

Left hand side is the easiest (foot-holds & hand-holds), right hand side is the hardest (neither!). You’re then 50% complete - just an 8ft drop to go!

Our tallest wall! You have the choice of wooden steps to help you down…or gravity!

‘THE BIG GUY’ - MONKEY BARS

Named after The Big Guy (aka Daddio, Grandy, Maurice) who built them! These Incline/Decline monkey bars look like they’re made out of roof trusses from a house… that’s because they are!

ROPE CLIMB

16ft vertical climb! This one is all about technique!

ZIG ZAG BALANCE BEAMS

Not as easy as they look!

 

THE BOX

Back-flips are optional!

THE RAMP - 8FT & 12FT

This Ninja Warrior-style obstacle is a firm-favourite, and is weirdly addictive!

 

OVER & UNDERS

Over, under, over, then accelerate…

INVERTED WALL

… and attack this sloped wall, dropping off the top, before launching towards…
